ABOUT HIS WORK Distorted, phatasmagoric imagery appears to have emerged directly from the artists subconscious fantasies, often treated in a obsessively erotic manner, executed with superb technical precision. His precisely delineated forms, rejecting traditional compositions and ideas of perspective evoke an enigmatic other worldliness; reflecting his unique personal mystical vision, in which imagination and reality become one. Rather than explicit reality, his work has a suggestion of horror. Set in a non-descript background the animated, heroic figures of the bulls, turtles, and others, dominate his space with their dramatic choreography. Contorted poses, haunted expressions, precisely painted on flat background, convey a sense of heightened drama and emotion.
