Anjana Mehra was born in 1949 in New Delhi. She studied at the Sir J.J.School of Art, Mumbai and Print Making at the M.S.University, Baroda. She has held several solo exhibitions: 1975,1982-Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, 1983-Graphite Powder Drawings on paper at the M.M.Shino Art Gallery, LA, USA, 1984-Pundole Art Gallery, Mumbai, 1988,1992,1994-Jehangir Art Gallery & Gallery 7, Mumbai, 1995-Series of six works commissioned by the Jindal Art Foundation, exhibited at NCPA, Mumbai, 1998-City of Mirages at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. Has attended a number of workshops from 1973 to 1995. She lives and works in Mumbai.
