ARUNKUMAR was born in 1968, Arunkumar H.G completed his BFA and MFA in sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University Baroda. His solo shows include "Feed" at Nature Morte, New Delhi and Sakshi Gallery, Mumbai 2006; "Inflatable works" at Nature Morte New Delhi 2001; and Studio Gallery, Garhi Artist Studio New Delhi 1997. He has participated in a number of group exhibitions. Some of the more recent ones include the China International Gallery Exposition, Beijing 2007; "Indian Colour" at Gallery Keumsan, Seoul 2007; "Making Unmaking" at Vadehra Art Gallery, New Delhi 2007; "Bronze" at Gallery Espace, New Delhi 2006; "Span" at Sakshi gallery Mumbai 2005 and "World at Hunger" at the World Social Forum, Porto allegre, Brazil 2005. Arunkumar has also completed residences at JNU Campus New Delhi in 2005 and University of South Australia Adelaide in 2007. The artist lives and works in Gurgaon, Haryana.
