Zahid Bin Amar is a self-taught artist. Yet one sees that his idiom and form of expression are very individualistic. He primarily paints landscapes and the world of nature surrounding him as means of communication with an art lover. Zahid has a great deal of experience and this leads him to experiment with different mediums in his paintings. He uses materials like plaster of Paris in his canvases to add depth and dimension, thereby adding drama to his creations. The artist currently lives and works in Hyderabad
