RATNA GUPTA (b.1979) Finishing her B.A. (2000) from St.Xaviers College, Mumbai, Ratna studied graphic design (2001) at the Weighan and Leigh college, Mumbai. She further went on to do a three-year B.A. honors (2005) in book arts and crafts at the London College of Printing, the London Institute London. She has participated in graduating show of the London Institute, London in 2005 and Sandarbh art camp, Partapur, Rajashtan in 2005. Held her first solo show "Metamorphoses Retold" in 2007 at Gallery Beyond, Mumbai. Participated in the Singapore Art Fair in 2007. Group shows: "Pot Pourri" & "CLooking Back" in 2008,Gallery Beyond, Mumbai & "Outward & Visible Signs of an inward & invisible grace" at Galerie Roman Rolland Alliance Francaise, New Delhi. Participated in the Asian Contemporary Art Fair, New York in 2008 & Art Expo'09 at Nehr Centre, Mumbai. "Someday" solo show at Gallery Beyond in 2009. Exhibited in the group show "Pandora's Box" at Gallery Beyond, Mumbai in 2009. Attended the Le Royal Meridien workshop in 2009 She lives and works in Mumbai. MEDIUM: RESIN & FIBRE SCULPTURES
