SHANTI DAVE (b.1931), He received his post-graduate Diploma in paintings from the M.S.University, Baroda. He has held one-man shows in India and abroad and participated in group exhibitions in the South East Asia Art Exhibition, Philippines, 1957, the International Graphic Exhibition, Lugano, Switzerland, 1960, Commonwealth Exhibition, London, 1962 and other international events. He received the National Art Akademi Awards in 1956, '57 and '58. He is a member of the Executive Board of the Lalit Kala Akademi and a member of the Sahitya Kala Parishad, New Delhi.
