Born in 1967 at Barrackpore, West Bengal in 1993, Partho finished DVA in painting from Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata. Has held solo exhibitions in 1997 Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata & 2001 Triveni Kala Sangam New Delhi. He has had a duet exhibition in 1998 at Rabindra Bhawan, Lalit Kala Academy New Delhi. He has participated in several group exhibitions in India. He has had international shows: 1997-Canada, 2001 Singapore, 2002 Hong Kong. He has participated in Art Camps at Haldia, West Bengal, Kolkata, Agra, New Delhi & Ajmer. Partho has received an Honour from the Kolkata Police in 1996. His paintings are in private collections in India and abroad. He lives and works in New Delhi.
