Born in Mumbai, in 1968, stood First Class First in 1990 - Diploma in Art Education & in 1993 Master of Arts-Painting from J.J.School of Arts Bombay. Post Graduate Diploma in Indian Aesthetics, Bombay. Has held solo shows: in 1998, 2001 & 2005 at Gallery Chemould, Mumbai; in 2004 at Apparao Gallery, Chennai. From 1990 - 2000 has worked as an Art Teacher in a Convent School in Mumbai. Has participated in several group shows: 1989- 'Monsoon Art Show', Jehangir Art Gallery, Bombay; 1993 - Artist Centre, Bombay, Jehangir Art Gallery, Bombay, 'Direction II', The Gallery, Madras, 'Young Talents', Gallery Chemould, Bombay; in 1996- 'Surface Tension'. She lives and works in Mumbai.
