Born in Mangalore, in 1989-1994 BFA (Sculpture) from Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts Mysore, 2002 Artist in Residency –School of Art & Design, University of Wales Institute Cardiff, UK. Has held solo shows: 1996 “About Something” at Shridarani Gallery, New Delhi & 2006 “Something Happened” at Gallery Espace New Delhi. Has participated in selected art shows: 1995 Four Young Artists at Gallery Espace New Delhi; in 1999 Edge of the Century New Delhi & Young Contemporaries French Embassy New Delhi; 2000 “Buddha Laugh Again” Academy of Fine Arts New Delhi; 2001 Art on Move Project organized by Sahmat New Delhi & Print Etc.com by Max Muller Bhavan New Delhi; 2002 Four Cities Tao Art Gallery & Digital Art Exhibition Sakshi Art Gallery Mumbai; 2003 Sheesha –Indo French Art Show at Sanskriti Kendra New Delhi, Chroma Indo Norwegian Art Show- Visual Art Gallery New Delhi, Photo Print-Nature Morte New Delhi & Screened Animated Video, UGC Hall Cardiff UK; 2004 Dot And Pixel-Gallery Espace New Delhi & Gallery Sumukha Bangalore; 2006 “Back to the Future” Gallery Espace New Delhi.Has undertaken New Media Projects & Installations: 2000 “To Be Continued” Animated Art Work Jyothi Auditorium Baroda; 2002 Digital Film Screening at UGC Hall Cardiff, UK; 2004 Animated Sketch Book –Gallery Espace New Delhi; & 2000”Let Me Fool You”-interactive art project, print etc.com at Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi. He has participated in the following Camps: 1996 Artists at Work – Akola Mysore, 1999 Artists workshop Assam Gwauhati, 2000 Pipe Dreams-Sculpture Project-by Jindal Pipes Kosikalan Mathura, 2001 Digital Workshop Art Underground Baroda & Art on Move Ayangar New Delhi. Has received the Charles Wallace Scholarship UK. His works are in the collection of NGMA New Delhi, Mr.E Alkazi Art Heritage New Delhi, Jindal Pipes Kosikalan Mathura and other private collections.
